No. A dog or cat arriving with a valid microchip, rabies vaccination and endorsed EU health certificate enters freely — no quarantine. Puppies under 15 weeks cannot enter yet.
The 10-day EU health certificate window. The certificate is valid for exactly 10 days from the vet's signature to your arrival in the EU — and USDA endorsement eats 1–3 business days of that. Book the vet appointment 8–10 days before departure.
For the EU: yes, the same three requirements, no extra treatment. For the UK, dogs need a tapeworm treatment 24–120h before arrival — cats don't. For the US, the CDC Dog Import Form applies to dogs only.
